I am currently working on my e-commerce website using a pre-designed template in Webeasy7. I am wondering how I can extend a page to fit more items. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

From the left toolbar go to design/edit/page, then on the top toolbar, go to size and change what you want. This changes all pages on your site, but that is usually ok because you browser won't display anything below your lowest entry (plus a minimal pad).

The Max you can set your page heigth to is 5,000. Now if your text box goes all the way down to the bottom of the page the page will automatically continue on until the end of the text.
I for one set all of my websites on 5,000. This way I know when to stop adding text. Some people like smaller pages. This will have to be a personal decision that you make. Like I said I like long flowing pages, while others love short box looking pages.
Advantages to both:
1. Long pages flow and you will beable to add more pictures, text, ads.
2. Short pages a set standard size, more pages for viewing, more possible page views.
So you can set your page as far as 5,000 or you can create more pages for the hopes of more pages being viewed. That is up to you, but JohnWM is correct on how you change the size.
I hope this helps,

So can you not set each page size to a different size? I have seen other websites (probably built with a different program) that all have different page sizes.
Depends on how you build your site.
By dynamic html or with CSS ?
If you build in Dynamic way, it doesn't matter how long the page will be, the viewer will see the page size according to the content.
If you choose to build with CSS, it means that there is one absolute file to control the style of your website (CSS) so if you change the size of a page it will change all the pages on your document.
BUT...
You can make several documents which will have different CSS by default
and link between them.
For example open a new document and design your homepage set page size to what you want.
then open another document and design you other pages with a different page size.
now you will have 2 documents and 2 CSS. (don't be afraid from that CSS you don't need to do nothing about it)
just link your homepage to the other pages.

Hi
I have been reading the thread regarding making web pages bigger (longer)
I am building a website using WEP 7.1, the site is from an existing template from "business" using the crimson template.
When I make the webpage longer - mine is set at 994 x 2000, the template is laid out in a blank back ground, I have unlocked the template to obtain the pull handles to open up the template (make bigger, like a jpg) but if I stretch the template to makes the go out of proportion (stretched like a photo) and puts the menu buttons in the wrong place etc.
I think the original poster was asking this, is there a way to make the page longer, so basically the body of the template would open up to allow more text, pictures etc in the body, but maintaining the header and footer proportions as they are set in the original template.
This is what I am hoping to do if its possible.
I hope someone understands where I am going with this, as I would appreciate some help. Otherwise I shall have to look for some different website builder software to do my site.
Cheers
Graham

There is no way to stop the image from distorting since it is a specific length and size to begin with, thats gonna happen when you stretch a image, no way around that, unless you can use some kind of photoshop program to increas the physical size of the images being used but that sounds like a lot of trouble.
I don't think that this small problem should break you...
The template you are talking about is made from a picture.
and if you stretch it it will just smudge on you whole page as you noticed.
so you can get creative... follow these steps:
don't change the picture's (background) size.
copy it and paste it so you will have 2 "pictures".
on the left menu choose "Image" then on the upper menu choose "Crop" and when it asks choose to use it's dialog.
crop the upper part and the bottom part as well - this will be your middle part of the page you can stretch it as much as you want.
repeat no' 3 (copy the original picture again)
crop the upper part so you will be left with the bottom only - this is you bottom part, put it in a way that it will connect with you middle.
you can crop the first image as well now.Now you can play with each part's size and position.
Good Luck
