Hi All!

Have the same problem here - I am trying to give up the practice of law -way too stressful.

Have a number of Web clients – mainly law firms in DC. Have built sites for them using WebEasy 7 and now have templates that make it fairly simple to create the pages generally needed for this type of site.

I have found the program to be naturally a little buggy, but after many hours of self-education I have produced a few pretty good websites. I am really in a terrible jam as I need to update sites for a number law firms but each time I open WebEasy 7 it will close.

The problem certainly seems to be in the validation scheme - I uninstalled the software from the machine I actually use it on - it takes the serial but then says I must register - I click on this and the program asks for a serial number. I put in my serial number and it says invalid. I am careful to make certain the software is only on one machine at a time.

Maybe the problem is only in the download version? I will gladly purchase the box version if this is the case. Just FYI – I can install WebEasy 6 and it works fine – but it is far buggier that version 7 and it will take a lot of hours that I just do not have to go back to the older version.

If I don’t get help soon I will have to go back into the practice of law.

There is definitely a major problem with the software. I have the same situation as you’d described. The software won’t start right. The first window opens and any click closes the software.

I don’t believe the software validates its license every time via the internet. I used it in the past off-line and it worked okay. In my case the issue started three days ago.

I received an email from Erik with some code to place in an attached file, but the file was not attached…. So I wasn’t able to correct anything.
