Problem with images

Hi, I have almost completed my first site using WE 7. All of the 25 pages of the site are based off of the first page that i used as a template. My problem is that even though every page uses the same images for links and layout, when i actually build it i end up with 25 copies of each image. I was wondering if there was a way (prior to building)to tell WE 7 to use the same image for all pages? The only solution i can think of is to delete the extra images after building and edit the code for each page to point to 1 image. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm a new user, but here is how I did it.

I set up the parts of my page that I wanted to use on all the pages (background and navigation buttons), then did File>Save As>Template.

Then use this template when you create your site. If you change the template later it ripples through.

In your post you said you used the first page as a template but it sounded like you copied it or used the feature where you insert the next page modelled after a previous one.
