View Full Version : Issues with Webeasy Professional 7 on my Tablet PC

Hi there,
I've been having issues getting my nice new copy of Webeasy 7 to load up on my laptop. The install all runs fine but when I load it up it just freezes and I have to shut down the process via TaskManager.

I've been in touch with Avanquest support and recieved the following in their latest email:

Please extract the contents of the attached file to

c:\program files\avanquest\webeasy.

Navigate to this folder and locate the TScookie file you just extracted.

Double click the file to run it, then paste in the following block, including dashes, email and code. Then there was some text which I need to copy and paste.

But there was nothing attached (i.e. the zipped file) and I've not heard back regarding resending it - has anyone experienced anything similar/is anyone able to send this item?

This was my original problem as well, only difference was after installing I needed to input serial number each time I opened program. They sent an e-mail with this TScookie as well. Same thing as you it was not attached. If you replied they will send it back to you with file, they did for me. This should work for you it's just a "hurry up and wait" game. Listen, keep that file after you download, including instructions. I have had to use it multiple times so far to keep program running smoothly. I.E.= I have litterally had to open cookie and re-download again and again......just so you know!

Many thanks for your reply - I thought it was just me who had this problem as i couldn't find anything about this anywhere! I'm just getting a bit fraustrated as I got the software for Christmas and still can't use it.

I'm still not able to use my copy of Web Easy 7. It was a birthday present and I'm considering having it taken back and getting some different software as I don't seem to be able to get to the bottom of this!

I've looked a bit more on the FAQs and found this:
Please open the task manager and end the tabtip.exe process before launching Webeasy. This process will start again automatically if it is needed. This is the handwriting recognition software included with Tablet PC edition of Windows.

I've tried this and the splash screen is there for longer now but the program still doesn't open.

Can ANYONE help me!!!
