Here is what I want to do. I am not a "Web-savvy" person....bear that in mind when responding. I want to incorporate some other's ideas for web site "nice-interactive" stuff.

I just want to know how to put he Html code onto a page and have it actually work when I preview or post. I have used all the advice listed and the only thing I see in preview is the code itself.

I need to add an guest book......I have a AI interactive character that will not work it just shows the Html code......and I need pay pal, and comments or otherwise box.

That's it.......everything else I have figured out! Please can anyone give me a simple "course" in using Web-NOT-so easy! LOLOL just to do the things above that's it!

THANKS!

To insert things like guestbooks:

select insert / component /dynamic link.

tick yes to the two boxes that appear & then cut & paste your code in the box
& when finished you have a placeholder graphic which you click onto your page

AtHomps,
Inserting HTML is as simple as adding text. I know you will hear from several people who do not like doing it this way but it is the easiest way out there. Add your simple, or plain text, and then copy pastes your HTML into the box. Make sure your box is big enough so the lines don’t fall down on each other. You can reduce the text down to a size 3 to help with this process.

As far as linking to an external site there are a million ways of doing this. Let’s use just one, because your savvy enough to say you know HTML I will not insult your intelligence on how to add HTML into your text.

So, lets move on we just added a picture that says “Guest Book” right click on it. Choose link. Click on the middle “Internet” tab. Click on “Website.” Type in the URL you want to direct it to. Click on the picture with the finger pointing to the piece of paper. This will add it to the favorites so the next time you need it, it will be stored. Click OK. Build preview page. Click on your picture. All done.

Two issues that may come up, #1 a white box with red X. Your text box is not large enough. #2 You will see a % sign inside the URL link, your text line is wrapping to another line, your text box is not wide enough.

Adding any type of HTML make sure you bring the text box forward and that these two issues above are taken care of and you will have no other issues.

I hope this helps,
Russell
