Hi
Avanquest apparently don't have any plans to produce additional templates for Web Easy so I thought I would have a go.

The above link is my first attempt and would appreciate any comments. Obviously it's not finished yet but I just wanted honest opinions before I spend hours refining it.
Cheers

hey , its hard to say without some real data on your site
but overall it looks very good.
the colors and the fonts , very nice design.
you won't keep any vertical text on its side like now i hope...

Hi
Thanks.
No the fonts will be the normal way up - just experimenting with them. I may keep the logo on it's side though I,m not sure yet. This is the good thing about forums because what I think is a good idea may turn out to be a bit of a dog in the real world.
Thanks again.
Allan
I think it is pretty annoying to see a vertical text, even a logo except if it's in Chinese... ;)
It makes one immediately twist his head to read just to think UGH...
But then again I'm only one vote so...

It's all a matter of taste. I'm a graphic designer by profession, and I happened to like the text to the side. Overall, it's not a bad design. Is it your design? and if so, what program did you use?

Yes, it is my design.
Got fed up trying to find templates that Web Easy would use. Loads of templates but issues with almost all of them in Web Easy.
I used a mixture of two programs for the design:
Microsoft Expression Design and Gimp. The Microsoft software gave me headaches and I'm only using about 10% of its potential but the Gimp software (Open Source so its free) is so difficult that I just dip in to it occasionally.

Nice scheme, execution, but I'm one more vote for no text on its side - my vertebrae are in bad enough shape already!

OK. I seem to be in the minority.
I'll put it the right way around.
Cheers
