Hi all,
I am using WebEasy 7 to create my website. I followed the instruction to create a slideshow as a separate Html document. However, I don't know how to insert/link this document to the main website. Please help.
Do you know of any easier way to import photos as a slideshow to the website.
I've tried to email support, but still haven't heard back from them. Your inputs are greatly appreciated.
Thank you!!!
Here is a site i found, i think it will suit your needs..
you need to register and upload your pic's it says you can put a flash link on your site later on...
This is the "easy" solution as you ask for..
There is a more complex one, which needs some html inserting to do
but really looks professional ...
here is a taste :

I will publish on the forum a guide on how to do it...

Hi.
The easiest way for me was to use a third party application.
Check out Flash Slideshow Maker Professional at http://www.flash-slideshow-maker.com/
I have used it in a very basic way for my web site and it's very simple to use. It does almost all of the work for you. All you have to do is to choose the photos.
Oh, and the best part is that it's FREE.
Hope this helps.

I agree with u their support sucks the big one. I too have a problem which I emailed for support not once, not twice but 3 times to no avail, that was 3 WEEKS ago!!! and still no answer. I have the same problem All I want to do is loop sets of 2 photos each on my home page so they keep flipping back & forth, and I can get them to go one way but cant get it to go back to the 1st set. Im gonna try the flash slide show, but I dont need the thumbnails at the bottom can u forgo those??
Thank god for forums

Hi.
You don't need to have the thumbnails unless you want to.
There are dozens of templates, many without the thumbnails and if you wish I think you can set up uour own.
Cheers
Allan.

Hi Allan,
Thanks for your suggestion. Do you link it to your website as a file/document?
Thanks!

you want to link it as an Internet web page.
first make the slideshow and then publish it. Name it appropriately and save it to a directory you can find later. Then upload the slideshow to a directory on your server. and that directory name will all be part of the URL.

Or ... you can do as I did and just create a container anywhere on your web page and copy and paste the code.

What does create a container mean?

a container is just a simple box that you then go to tools>script and then you put your script in that menu area. script is how everything actually happens on the web browser. That's what WE is actually doing, you are writing text and placing tables and picturesand then WE turns that into script. Sometimes you want to do something that WE doesn't do and so you go out and find a script to do what you want and put it in a container.

PS maybe someone else can explain the difference between the custom script in the links section and the tools>script and the putting script in using the inspector I do all 3 ways and I know that somethings don't work one way so you have to experiment with it. I wish I knew what the 3 different ways are for.
You have a guide for pictures slideshow just several threads from this one...
