New here. Hi to all. Got Webeasy7 about a month ago.
My website seems to work properly after I built it and tested it. I then went to load it up on the ieasy site. After transferring all the files they send back an error code of 1029. Can't find any info on what that code means. All they suggest is turning the firewall off and make sure your browser doen't go off line. Also tried the FTP Max. Came back with a message of "Cannot connect to host". Any clues?

If you are wireless, try connecting directly to your server.
I found that when I tried to go wireless I started receiving several error codes.
If this doesn't help tell your firewall to make an exception, a new rule, to allow WebEasy access to the Internet.
I hope its just that your wireless and connecting to a hardline helps.

Thanks Russell for the reply. I do have a hard line connection to my computer and I have tried turning off my firewall. After attempting to run the transfer of files to the ieasy site about a dozen times, I still get the same error. I don't get the error till all the files have been sent. That's after about 12 minutes. After all those attempts, the next problem I had was that my "album" did not appear in the screen for website publishing(the screen with the small box to be checked). Another six tries at running Publishing Assistant ended in the package finally appearing again. But I still get the same error number after trying to download.

Sparks,
Ok I am going to try to walk you thru building your website.
If you have more than one website this may help you.
Once you have WebEasy open and you have selected your website go to build website.
This will bring up your “Build Dynamic Website” box.
On the very top of this box should be where your website folder is located.
I.e.
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Web Easy\Html
(This could be a little different with each person’s computer)
This is a default setting for WebEasy.
Go back into your WebEasy folder (the one located in your destination line).
Create a folder, named after your website, (Your Website Name).
Now go back to the “Build Dynamic Website” box.
Redirect it to your new folder.
I.e.
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Web Easy\Your Website Name
While we are in the “Build Dynamic Website” box click on Advanced.
Here you will change all the Preset information.
Author
Internet search engine words
Internet search engine description
Fill this out with your info.
Now go to FILE and click on save.
This is the point to test it.
Go to “Build” and select all pages.
Double check your website is still working correctly.
After you checked your website and it works good, then you should go to the file C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Web Easy\Your Website Name and make sure it has your website information in it.
If everything has checked out from this point go ahead and build your website to publish.
Go to “Build” Website.
Click the Publish Now box.
The Output box should be checked with “All Pages.”
Click the folder with the magnifying glass and make sure it’s still pointed in the right folder.
If everything is still a go click OK.
You will get a Windows Warning box saying “The folder: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Web Easy\Your Website Name already contains the package” Your Website Name.
Do you want to overwrite the existing package?
Click Ok.
Once it builds it you will get another box, “Publishing Your Web Site To The Internet.”
It was stated that you were using Ieasysite.com and if this is your only site select:
Use Avanquest’s preferred Web Hosting service (recommended).
You’ll get another Windows box stating:
The Currently edited original web site document has been modified. It is strongly recommended to save the original document and build the web site before publishing on the Internet.
Do you wish to continue?
Click Yes.
Now the iEasySite Wizard box will come up. Click the Update an existing web site. Because you already have your web site with iEasySite.
[Here is a step that may solve one of your problems] Click on options… (Located bottom left).
Choose the Standard button. This will drop down your transfer to 50K of transfer. I have mine right now on Larger (100K) but when I get over to Afghanistan I will have to lower it to perhaps 25K. Click OK.
Click Next.
Make sure your website name is in the Web Site drop down menu. Click next if everything is ok and your password is correct.
Click Next.
Choose a Web Easy site to update.
Make sure your packet name is in here. Check it and click next.
Updating your web site box should be next. You have two options here.
Upload your entire web site or Upload only changes to your web site.
Because you can’t get it to load at all yet select Upload Your Entire Web Site.
After this choose Upload only Changes to your Web Site. This will speed the process up a ton.
Now Click Next.
This will start the uploading procedures.
Once this is done it will let you know.
I am assuming this is were you usually get your error code but perhaps downsizing your upload from 100K to 50 may have helped.
Let me know if it uploaded this time.
I hope this helps,
Russell

Thanks Russell for the input. I made all the changes that you suggested in the first part of your reply. Hadn't thought about the info in the advanced section of the build box. I guess that's important to change though not critical. Putting all the files in a new folder made sense but had an issue with about 10 of the images disappearing. No biggie. Just entered them again. This all might have had something to do with my hard drive crashing several weeks ago. I installed a new drive and tranferred my files thinking all was well. Maybe not.
After going though the build portion of your recomendation, I tried to load everything back on the ieasy site. It wouldn't let me because of the file name of the previous package. Had to basically start over by creating a temp. site. All of that went well without any issues. After entering the info to change it over to a permanant site, I just wonder if they will bill me twice. I had given them all that information the first time.
Thanks again for the help. Will have to list the site on here once it's up permanently to get some critiquing and input.
