is there anyone out there that can tell me the proper way to load a site in a subdirectory in FTP? I keep doing it but something is not working right so I assume it is me...I use yahoo..is that matters to anyone...I want to use it as a test site...

Make a subdirectory in a named folder e.g. test
give 'test' its own index.html, upload it & view it www.mysite.com/test

Ok so i did as you said....so to test.satelliteofficesolutions.com only the first page is there.. I uploaded ALL the files from this site...so what am i doing wrong. All the other pages done want to work. I mean in the FTP folder they are there and preview is avail but when I go to test.....etc the links done work...

You have it back to front, its not

I can see your test site but its not named ' test' , rename it test & upload it again
& it should work

Vic i did not set it up that way yahoo does that on its own...they only let you choose the name not the format...either way its not working your way or mine.

Hmmm, thats odd, don't know why they do it back to front altho I tried it & it does bring up the page, you must have the links incorrect, bring up each page on the net & copy & paste the whole internet address into the Webeasy link box for each link & it has to work surely

Just noticed something rather odd when trying to get your links working, hovering the mouse below 'links ' shows the web address for that page & its got

what do you mean by easy link? I can get the page to open out of FTP if I click on each page on its own BUT they wont work together...I know the site if correct because I already have it loaded on the customers site...I am just using this as a test....

Can anyone else help with this??????


ITA3 is the file name...Instyle Travel Agency 3 (meaning page 3)
