I am new to the Web Easy software, and website building in geenral. What I am confused about is how I create a style on one sheet and inherit those properties in all pages in the site. I understand how to use the style sheet and make changes to colors, fonts, etc... But how can I change the style sheet to have the same logo/picture in the same spot for all pages?
I read that CSS is supported and seems to be the toll for doing this, but the online tutorial in the software package is not very helpful. Is there better documentation on how to utilize CSS in WEP?
Please excuse the elementary questions, I'm just trying to get started here.

The CSS or Cascading Style Sheets are actually just a set of definitions for items like fonts, links, etc. They are not used to create what you might consider a 'theme' for your site. The easiest way to do this is to design the page you like, save it as a template, then use this template to create the other pages of your site, providing a consistent look throughout the site.

When using a template for all documents, how do you make changes so that all documents using the template are automatically updated? I am in the process of designing my website and the basic template is the same for all pages. However, the # of pages is getting quite high and I want to be able to make a global change to the base template without having to manually change each and every page. Can this be done and if so, how?
Thanks,
Bonnie

As Support EL says, just take one of Web Easy 7 templates and change it to be what you want and resave it as your template to be used for each and every one of your web pages.

That works for creating new documents/pages, but doesn't seem to work for making global changes to a site.
For example: I create a template with my picture, borders and text and call it "maintemplate". I then use that "maintemplate" for each and every page that I create for my 200 page website.
Now, I decide that I want to change some of the text that was in the "maintemplate". I go in and change it on my "maintemplate", but that doesn't change all my existing pages created using that "maintemplate".
Is there a way to use that "maintemplate", so that when changes are made to it, they update the 200 pages already created using that "maintemplate"?

OK, I understand now what you want. Yes, that would be nice to see that happen. I bet that is something you won't see until version 8!!!:p:p
