I am not a pro site master. I struggle along with everyone else. There is something I learned along the way that works quietly and well.

I bring this up because I just got done being aggravated....again..... by a pro built commercial website not making their phone number, location, or what forms of payment they take easily available. Sure.... most folks have a contact page but some of these people really bury it and sometimes when you get there not enough info is available.

So, for my contribution to you folks with websites that sell something.
1: City, state, and phone number placed top and bottom of page.
2: If you take credit cards put that little logo top and bottom along with paypal, COD or whatever.
3: Put a link on each page to the page that explains how your shopping cart works.

The idea here is put the potential buyer at ease with all the info he needs. Don't make them work for it. If you make yourself look like an invisible company your customer will be invisible.

Feel free to look at my site for what I am talking about.

Hey...my smilies on the right are working!. If they didn't fix something I may know what did it for me.

Thanks Dave, I could not have said it better. I would add that as an avid web shopper, I do not purchase from any site that does not have the type of information you listed, clearly visible.

You cannot be a "trusting" comsumer in this day an age.
