Good Afternoon, I am new to this forum and hope some can assist. I have Web Easy 6. My computer crashed so I had to load the software to a new computer. Loading the software and files worked fine, with the exception of photo's which I believe I will have to cut/paste in, no problem. The problem I am having is when I go to the upload screen and insert the host IP address and other relevant info the comment comes back as
"invalid password". Now I have been modiying my site on a monthly basis without problems now the password is not working. Is this a "Webeasy" issue I'm having or a "Go Daddy" issue. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. A friend actually helped setup the website due to me not being tech literate. Is the password that is being asked of me at upload a Go Daddy password or Web Easy password?. Can I reset it? Any and I mean any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you vide (Go Daddy)

When you had to reload you lost all your cookies including the saved passwords. As I recall you will also have to fill in the web easy ftp again.

Having been through all that before I used to keep a file with all those passwords and serial numbers. I later found a better way (as long as you back it up somewhere else) and that is a little program called Password Protection. By making a new folder you can keep your program serial numbers in one place also. You only have to remember the password to get into it though>
