Has anyone experienced and more importantly resolved this issue? I had web easy 5 for years and it worked great. I upgraded to 6 and more often than not when I opened the program, the banner would come up and then it would freeze right there. I have to use ctrl-alt-delete to get out of it. Same with Web Easy Pro 7. I might get lucky and get it to open once out of 15 or so attempts. Using windows XP. Thanks . . .

There are a few programs that might interfere with WebEasy opening. You can start to narrow this down by trying to open WebEasy in safe mode of Windows. If you can open WebEasy in safe mode, there is a conflict somewhere in normal mode.
Check through running applications and disable or remove what you can to narrow down the cause. Some items I have seen include
Net Nanny (and other surf watch programs)
Messenger or chat programs
Window Blinds
Those are the first that come to mind so good luck narrowing down the conflict.

I hate to ask such a basic question, but I have never had to find my running applications before. How do I go about this on XP? Also, Web Easy does run in safe mode, but locks or crashes at start up in normal mode.
Thanks, Steve
