For the techs:
WEP 7 links dialog
There is an option for opening a link in a new blank page. Can you explain it's purpose and when one might want to use it?
Did not find an explanation in the help files.
Thanks
Dave

I think you are referring to opening a link in a new window (blank target). This just refers to having the link you setup open a new browser window for you rather than having the link appear in the current window. Try this with a link on your site and you will quickly see what the difference is.

Oh, ok. This is to replace the little bitty icons in 6 that indicated new window or the same window?
Thanks

Hi Dave,
Yes, this replaces the check box in 6 that was up in the right hand corner.
I use this feature when linking to other web sites. So when someone clicks on a link that if off my site - a new window opens and shows that site, then when the user closes that window - my site is still there (in the original window) - therefore I do not lose the customer who was at my site.
Does this help?
Verb :)

in Webeasy6 you had to check the little link symbol in the corner had the green arrow selected otherwise you could not return to the original page other than by closing the window if for example you are viewing enlarged photo's from thumbnails. Selecting the green arrow symbol allows you to use the keyboard return
