I was wondering how you can change the size of one page in a document, without changing the other. I remember it worked once, but I can't get it to work again. Any help is highly appreciated!
P.s. I'm using the express edition of version 6

Great question..! I will be watching this one too... As far as I understand it, ( and I don't understand much, lol... ) the front (first) page sets the frames for the other pages in your site (document). However, I got it to work once also.
Waiting patiently in the corner... :???:

I could be wrong but I thought the only way you could only do this with Webeasy is by making any page that you want as a different size to the others as an individual website page or pages as it were & link to it from the other pages, The page or pages would have to be in a named folder with its own index.htm.
i.e. www.mywebsite .htm for main site but put the odd sized one in
www.mywebsite.htm/oddsize or whatever you name it, ignore warnings about
index.htm conflict with main website as it will be in a folder

In WebEasy when you select a page size this is applied through the site. The key is that browsers will not display this extra size if you build in HTML w/CSS. This means that if you have a long page, say 2000 long, but only have text in the upper 800, most browsers will leave off the blank space.
The exception is if you have a frame setup, including a centering frame. In this case the frame may make the page show areas of the page where there is no detail. This is what some users see when they think WebEasy is forcing this blank space to show.
So you can create separate sites but for many users the extra blank space on pages will be cut-off.

When I create my web site with different size pages, the pages all crop or size properly when I select "with standard page" option (excess blank area does not show). However, when I select "with centered page" option, all pages include the blank area at the bottom of the screen.
Does anyone know how to create your web site with differenct size pages using the "With centered pages" and not show the excess blank area at the bottom of the screen? (Without creating another web site or document).
I would think WEP7 would treat a web site with centered page option the same as standard page option, but it doesn't.

When you choose the centering option you are actually asking WebEasy to make a frame for you for the entire site. This means that every page of your site will appear in this centered frame. In order to do this, the frame must be large enough to accommodate the largest page of the site. This is a shortfall of the frame process, not so much of WebEasy.

Thanks Support_EL. That explains why the extra blank space on shorter pages are not cropped when displayed. However, do you know of a way to create a web site with different page sizes, the blank space is cropped off, and all pages are centered?
I noticed that all of the pages in this forum web site are centered, the pages are different sizes, but there is no extra space displaying at the bottom of each page. How was this done?

Unfortunately with WebEasy in it's current version once you setup centering you are using a frame and as discussed above, the frame will end up the length of your longest page. The only choices are to remove centering or reduce the length of your longest pages to create a more balanced site.
The one other choice is to create separate site documents for the longer pages if you don't mind a bit of extra work. This requires linking between documents to create the site. Hope this helps.

How soon until this bug is fixed? All professional looking quality sites are set up to center on the screen. It is not like this is an unusual scenario, it is the norm. With that being said, It is also the norm to have individual pages with different length of content needs. This is an important and basic needed feature. The ideal thing to do here is fix the programming and include it in our web easy pro updates.
Thanx in Advance,

You say when centering a document we are using frames. Aren't we actually using CSS to center the documents and not frames?
