Hello,

In trying to use the custom script assistant (is that the right place?) to enter alt text for an image I chose "object events".

First try:
alt (equals sign)"Ms. E N Bxx, Owner/CEO BEK, Brown Ent of KS"

Second try:
OnMouseOver (equals sign)"Ms. E N Bxx, Owner/CEO BEK, Brown Ent of KS"

Neither one worked. I played a little, to no avail. Could I get the correct steps for this procedure? I got the directions from the Q & A at v-com.

Help!

The first choice you mention should work. It might be easier to just put a text box over the image, type the alt text, then right click it and choose 'send to back'. This will also create alt text for the image.

1- select/highlight the image on your document
2- push the control & k keys at the same time (inspector window should come up)
3- in the top right hand corner of the inspector window choose selection (should be an arrow icon)
4- the first drop down/expandable menu item should be "item"
5- expand the menu and you should see html title & html alt near the bottom of the menu

Yes, the custom script assistant, or file inspector would be an easy way to do this. If you're trying to ad alternate text to an image so that it will display, you can use empty tags like this: alt=""

One of the problems may be the / in your naming.
