Pocket Phone Tools with Audiovox RTM-8000 CF Card

I'm trying to get Pocket Phone to run in my Audiovox RTM-8000 CF Card phone inserted in a Toshiba e830 running WM2003SE.

I can establish an internet data connection OK but can't get the Dialler Voice Phone capability to do anything - it's greyed out.

The CF Card IS voice capable - I have successfully used with Running VOice software but looking for a more up to date and functional options (eg. including Contact address book access as per Phone Tools).

Request advise what I can do to overcome this ?

If the software is not showing any voice features, you will need to make sure that you card is a voice card.
If you do have a voice card, maker sure that you have the latest voice drivers for the device.

As stated in the original post, the CF Card IS Voice capable. The SIM card IS voice capable.

Running Voice software gives access to both (but lacks fucntionality of Pocket Phone Tools I wish to use).

However, Pocket Phone Tools shows the Voice functionality greyed out.

So, please advise what steps can be taken to resolve ??

It only seems to be able to identify the Audiovox card as 'generic' - is there some means of being able to fool the siftware into acknowledging the real capabilities of the modem card ?

The software will not work if the card is installed as generic driver installed.
you will need to update that driver inorder for our software to show the features active

The last few mails have sowed a seed .... I think I now have a potential solution - the Audiovox CF Card is identical hardware to a device issued by Fujitsu Siemens so I have tried selecting several of the Siemens phone models that are pre-identified in PPT... different models result in different items in the PPT Settings screen being greyed out - but at least a couple 'light up' the Phone setting. Preliminary trials indicate that this seems to work OK !

I can confirm that the Audiovox RTM-8000 CF Card works absolutely fine in both Voice and GPRS Data modes with the following Cell Phone / Manufacturers settings:

Cell phone / Modem manufacturer: Siemens
Cell phone / Modem model: SL55
Type of connection used: GPRS_Modem
