I tried updating my software today and it wouldn't connect to the server and I got an error. I then check the support link on the main site and when I clicked on the update link, the page was missing. The I tried sending myself a video, and I got another error. I added this program into my firewall setting and security settings of IE, and still nothing. Did something happen? Is this program no longer supported or did the company disappear? Has been working fine for the few months I've had it with no problems.

We had some trouble with our server yesterday. This may have caused your issues. Let us know if you are still experiencing trouble.

When I start the software (ver 2.0) I receive a message than an update is being downloaded, then one that it has successfully downloaded; but I subsequently receive an error message saying "The live update module has intercepted an error. Error number: 0x4; description: file does not exist."

Some of these messages are about impossible to read on my screen - the only thing visible is the "close" button.

I don't know if the upgrade to 2.01 is worth the effort, but now it bugs me that I can't manage it. I also didn't find an upgrade on the web site. Any advice? Thanks.

It must be a pretty bad problem when in several month Avanquest did not fix the server. I have the same problem and did not get any update for two months. To contact help has been a whole bad experience. The program System8 pro is expensive but promise more than it delivers. I think I will collect my loses and buy a new anti-virus, for all three systems. I will tell everybody I know about this disappointment.
