pictures don't finish loading

When I open send photos and select my picture file to open it only loads about 1/4 of them. All the rest of the photos are a "blank" that says loading for as long as I leave it open (all night). How do I get them to finish loading so I can select them?

when the program is open to the main select screen, look for the index botton on left side beneath the folder tree. Click the index button and follow the instructions to scan your drives for images. This process may take a long time depending on how many pictures you have. But once finished it will have created thumbnails and indexed all pictures allowing them to load quickly in the future.
