Cannot Fax

In 2003 I purchased a Dell computer. I decided to have the fax mode in the pc rather than a free standing fax machine.

Since 2003 we have had dial up service with AOL.

Last week we had high speed internet service installed via a modum with Embarq.

Now I cannot fax. It says no dial tone.

How do I fax via a modum with high speed internet service?

The version of our software that you currently use does not support faxing directly with your DSL modem, however if you still have the analog modem that our software came with installed in your PC, you should still be able to get it to work fine. Typically you will need to have a filter plugged into the analog modem and we do have a document on our website outlining how it needs to be hooked up so please take a look if you are running into any problems since getting DSL: www.bvrpusa.com/download/documentation/DSL_Setup.pdf
