conexant D110 MDC V.9X

WINDOWS XP SP2

4. Details of the issue including any error messages,

I am trying to send a fax with an attached text file. It dials,connects, and sends 8% of my fax. Then under REPORT it says at first "transmission in progress" followed by "transmission interrupted". DIAGNOSTIC
"Hangup after page transmission".


5. Scenarios under which the issue occurs, "
All the time.

The fax is starting to transmit and then the connection is lost. Start by setting FaxTools to Exclusive Use, check the box for this found under General Setup, Communication. Also, if you are using DSL make sure you have a filter on the phone line you're using to fax. If that doesn't work you may want to reinstall your modem. You can do this by removing it in Control Panel, Phone and Modem Options, Modems, and then restarting your computer. Windows will reinstall the modem driver.

Chris Dawson sends e-mails to me, but when I "reply" the e-mails are returned as undeliverable. I hope he sees this. I wanted to thank him. He fixed the problem when he told me what to change my modem driver to.
