Fax Tools

I had Classic Phone Tools 4.23 which came with my X73 Lexmark printer I now have Fax Tool 510. I am not able to fax over a DSL line as I did with Classic Phone Tools. I have a filter on all my phones, but I still get transmission timeout. Could you please tell me what the problems is. Don't understand why it worked with my other program and not this one. Am using a Dell Computer running Window XP.

1. From Faxtools, click on Setup/Configure then General Setup/Configuration.
2. Click on the Location or Localization tab and set it to "Use faxtools dialing properties" and click OK.
3. When you dial out now, it should dial your numbers exactly as you type them in.
