Previously I was using iPAQ 38xx model with bluetooth integrated and I was able to connect and communicate with my Motorola V600.
Recently I had just bought a new PDA Dell AXIM X50 and I'm not able to detect and communicate with my v600.
I'm able to explore the mobile phone using the Bluetooth Manager where I can even send & receive files from there.
Please advise.
Thanks

Pocket Phone Tools is displaying that it cannot find the device though it is paird to the pocket PC?
Hi,
Yes, I've even tried pairing the device manually via the Bluetooth Manager but when I've tried running the pocket phonetools to detect the device, the application always indicates cannot detect modem.
Please Help. Thanks

When the device was paired, did it create a dial up modem on the PDA for it? This is needed to comunicate with the phone.

Paired as in using the Bluetooth Manager to paired or the pocket phonetools?
If the bluetooth manager, I can see two objects: Motorola V600: Dial-Up Networking & Motorola V600: OBEX file transfer

Under the Dial up networking does it allow you to query the modem?

How am I suppose to Query the modem?
If I show the properties for the Dial-Up Network, it shows:
Device Name: Motorola V600
Device Address: xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
Service Name: Dial-Up Networking

Generaly when it lists a modem Type and connection, If you right click on the modem or on that screen it should allow you to Query the modem,

I don't think I'm able to query the modem as I'm not able to find it.
Or I might be wrong, please kindly provide some guidelines for me in this manner.
Thanks!

To see if your modem is working correctly:
1. Go to Start, Control Panel, Phone and Modem Options, Modems tab, highlight your modem and click the properties button.
2. Click on the Diagnostics tab and click the Query modem button.
A normal response will display some information under the Command and Response section. An abnormal response will result in a popup error message.

Are the support engineers here out of ideas? Or AvanQuest doesn't know how to fix thier own problem? To me getting this product had just went down the drain.
