Please help Samsung sph a 900 Sprint

I hope someone gets this question it is the second time I have posted.

I have selected generic in the setup field, my phone with Sprint is not listed. I can download a voice record to my locker and phone without a problem. I have a Cd that I made and it shows up under the cd tab but when I go to extract I get an hourglass for a split second and nothing happens, I have rebooted etc and nothing. Please help I am so frustrated. Thanks

What is the type of the files that are saved on the CD ?

Well, when I went to play them the CD opens up in Itunes, should I be doing something different, and also am I OK on the generic setting.

Can you play the CD in windows media player software ?

How did you create the CD , is it a protected CD ?
