Infared not detected

I recentley downloaded Ringtone Media Studio on my computer. I am super dumb with this infared stuff. I know i have it on my phone and i have turned it on but when i click the transfer to phone it says there is none detected...Help!!

Note :You need to have infrared in your PC and to make sure the PC and the phone is paired .

How do I transfer through Bluetooth or Infrared?

Answer:
The file to be transferred must be opened and edited. Please refer to the help for needed steps. Once the file editing is completed:

1. Insure the phone is paired or linked through the Bluetooth or Cable manufacturers software prior to file transfer.

2. Select ”Transfer to phone" from the toolbar near the top of the screen.

3. A "Transfer a file" dialog box will be displayed, the detected transfer methods will be displayed. The grayed out options were not detected. If your transfer method was not detected make sure it is configured correctly.

4. Click the OK button to start the transfer. The software for the transfer device will appear.
