Cant recive faxes on my computer

I have windowXP pro I just got a lexmark X1195 printer with free faxtools. I can send faxes but cant recived faxes????

To receive a fax your computer needs to be on and FaxTools needs to be open. You would want to have the person send a fax to the same phone number that your computer is plugged into. Make sure your modem is not in use by another program such as the internet.
