I just got the printer and can not set up fax. It seems to say I don't have a moteum and I have a dsl external moteum. When I try and fax it tells me I need an identifier. What is that? told it was a driver. How to I get it to see my dsl moteum?

The fax identifier is going to either be your fax number, your name, or your company name. This is the required "From: " field that appears at the top of your faxes when they are sent.

The version of our software that you currently use does not support faxing directly with your DSL modem, however if you still have the analog modem that our software came with installed in your PC, you should still be able to get it to work fine. Typically you will need to have a filter plugged into the analog modem and we do have a document on our website outlining how it needs to be hooked up so please take a look if you are running into any problems since getting DSL: www.bvrpusa.com/download/documentation/DSL_Setup.pdf
