Why does my Classic Phone Tools take ages to load - 20 minutes - I use Win Pro 2000 on a fairly recent pc with 512 RAM.

Things that cause the software to open slow is if you have a lot of faxes in the software with in the IN/Out box, Finished/Filed transmissions.
Of if there are a lot of Contacts in the phone books.

What is the version of the software you are useing?

Yes - I seem to have a lot of Archive and Personal folders all with contacts in them - should I try deleting some?

I updated a couple of days ago to the latest Classic Phone Tools.

Yes, If you would like the software to open faster you will need to clear out some of your old faxes/phone contacts.
