My faxtools which was fine before, just stopped working a few months back. No new hardware had been added so I can't figure out what happened. Details of my computer are

Faxtools V5.10 came with my Lexmark X1150 printer
Windows XP Home edition Version 2002
Conexant HSF V92 56K PCI modem

Please can you help?

I prepare the fax and click send. The screen show that it's dialling, but there is no dial tone. After about 2 mintues, the screen show Transmission timeout

Are you calling a local or a long distance number?

When you dial locally on your normal phone do you have to include the area code? Are you including the Area code in Faxtools when you put the number in?
