Activation of Independent Mode not possible.

Hello folks, I have just downloaded new Classic Phone Tools 6 for my Multitech MessageSaver modem and am quite impressed with the new ehnahcements. However when I try to exit the application, following message appears:

Activation of Independent Mode not possible. No greeting message.

- bizarre is that my modem actually does switch to Independent Mode (can record messages and faxes when computer is turned off), but instead of the greeting message it only plays the beep which is very confusing for the caller. I am running Windows XP Pro.

Any ideas what to do?

In Classic Phonetools go to Setup and then General Setup. Go to the Voice tab. For Greeting and record do you have a message selected there?
