If I create a pdf from eXPert PDF I'm not able to read it in Acrobat Reader 5.
That's normal or someone knows this problems?
Thanks regards

The Expert PDF 4 is meant to work with Adope reader 6 or 7, version 5 is not supported.

Why in Creator, in setting options, you can set the compatibilty to 1.4 (Acrobat 5.X)?

If you send a pdf file to a Visage eXPertd PDF, when you have the eXPert PDF Creator 4 window, in the option (the third icon below the Visage trademark) you have a create compatibily an there you can choose from version 6X (1.5) - 5X (1.4) and 3x (1.3)...
What does it mean?
Thanks regards.

Create a pdf file and I assume that it is compatible with version that I selected. This is not true, it doesn't work if you try to open with version 5 of Acrobat Reader you have an error that say "this pdf is not compatible".
You can open with other version (6 or 7) of Acrobat Reader.
My opinion is: the create compatibily command doesn't work?.

Honestly, I have no way of testing it as I only have access to Reader 7.
