why are hangups shown as incoming messages

When incoming callers do not leave a message, why does PhoneTools show it as a message. When I try to listen, there is nothing there but a few seconds of silence. I want to only have real messages show up in my mailbox.

That depends on the Modem. Its not reporting silence soon enough so Classic has started recording before we get the message from the modem that there is silence and we disconnect. There is not anything we can do about that.
