Can anyone help. I gave given my pdf file 128bit encryption, and in adobe it is not possible to copy the file...

However, copying the file in windows explorer (or "My Computer") works.

What is the benefit? Or am I doing something wrong?

OK - I am writing a pdf document which I plan on selling. I do not want it to be copiable.

The settings under the SECURITY tab, set to 128-bit RC4, stop people from being able to use the "File - Save As" option in adobe acrobat, and also from being able to print.

Is it possible - simply put - to secure a pdf document so that only one working copy of it can be on a computer at a time.
