Windows XP upgrade timeout

I recently downloaded an upgraded version of Classic Phone Tools that is compatible with Windows XP. Now when I send a fax it times out as soon as the modem on the other end connects. Is there a fix?

What version of Phonetools do you have and which modem do you have in the computer?

To Whom It May Concern:

I am using PhoneToolsPlus installed on a Dell Dimension 8250 in Jan. 2003
Multimedia Software 3.10 Version

BCM V.92 56K modem (1/1)

Often (not everytime) when I have an incoming FAX, the fax modem hangs up and says "transmission Timeout".

Too often to be just wrong numbers.
