Text properties not incorrect properties at current cursor

If I am editing text that has different fonts or different size, and I move the cursor to text that is formatted differently, the text properties window does not update to tell me the correct properties for the text at the cursor.

This one I am not seeing either. We are talking about the little area that pops up at the bottom when you choose text tool and then click on the document, correct?

Yes, I click on one piece of text in a paragraph and it shows the correct font in the text properties area at the bottom of the screen, but when I click on another piece of text that has a different font, the properties do not change in the text properties area at the bottom of the screen.
