There are not any settiings we can change in the program. What version are you on? Did it let you set up the Pebl?

Do you have Windows media player on your computer? Have you tried updating media player to version 10?
yes, i have windows media player 10.0 and the latest winamp player. i tried playing ringtone on both. can this software simply not do better than Bit Rate 56kbps / Channels 2 / Audio Sample rate 22kHz?????????

To be playable on most phones, the Bit rate has to be less then 128bps and the frequency has to be greater than 20,000hz.
How do you get it to output the mp3 at 128 instead of 56?

You can't change that through our program, it is using the default settings of the MP3 codec in Windows. You would need to modify the file with another program.
Do you know of a program that can modify the default windows codecs or a website that shows me how I can do it myself...

No, I do not have any information about that.
