1. Version: Classic Phone Tools 6.04
2. Modem/Phone I am using? SoftV90 Speakerphone Modem
3. What operating system are you using? Dell Dimension 4500 running Windows XP SP2, Creative SB Live soundcard
4. Details of the issue including any error messages: I had to reinstall Windows and your software. Originally when i purchased my system from Dell I was able to make and recieve phonecalls using your software. It appears that Dell didnt supply me with the same install disk because when I reinstalled it only gave me fax tools. I have now downloaded your Classic Phone Tools 6.04 Trial, but I am unable to hear calls. The software seems to be dialing and connecting properly but I cant hear or speak to callers using my headset. I have tried the support forums for help and was unable to locate the 2 files that you suggested I delete to fix the issue as instructed here: http://support.bvrp.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=72
5. Scenarios under which the issue occurs: Haven't been able to use since install
6. How did you receive the software? Received with a Dell 4500 originally, but they provided wrong install disk. I also need an activation code because one wasn't provided by Dell.
Please help. I have used your software in the past and swear by it, unlike some of the people in these forums. When it was working before Windows reinstall it was a total asset to me and my home business.
Your help is greatly appreciated in resolving my issues.
