Configure internal modem of hp ipaq6500

I have recently buy an HP IPAQ6500 that have pocket phone 2003 and an internal modem but i can't configure softyware pocket phoone tools 5 with the internal modem. the software can't detect the modem why?
The software is not compatible with ipaq 6500? How can i do?

This is not a Cellphone you are trying to use it with correct?

It won't work with that modem, it is only compataible with a specific set of cell phones.
