Illegal OP.

Using Phone tools that came with a Dell computer running Windows 98. The computer was purchased from Dell. The moden is MDP 3880-W. When I try to send a fax I get an Illegal operation fault @ WFP2N.DLL.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try this:

In Windows 98/Me:
Click Start, Settings, Control Panel, Modems. Highlight your modem, click the Remove button and reboot. Upon restart your modem will automatically reinstall itself.
