I purchased my gateway computer a couple of years ago and it came with everything installed, including Phone Tools. All was working perfectly until I installed a new version of Microsoft office 2003 and got some updates online from Microsoft, which included a Service Pak. As you can see, I'm not too with it on the computer language stuff. Anyway, now Phone Tools will not open. When I click on the icon, I get a message that says " Multimedia Software has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. " It then asks me if I want to send an error report to Microsoft about the problem. I found the original disk for Applications and re-installed Phone Tools but it still won't work. Can you help me? Is there a newer version of Phone Tools that I need in order for it to work with my new downloads? Can you email it to me or direct me to a download?
