Hello,
I would like to know if there are any settings that have to be set up to use the fax on my computer. I have a Compaq Presario and am running Windows XP. I have a dial-up connection. The machine that I am using to fax with is a Lexmark X74-X75 All in one.
I have been able to send a fax at one time and to receive one, but then I had some computer problems and had to have the power supply replaced. I unplugged the All in one from my computer and since I have plugged it back in and gotten the power supply replaced, I am not having any success with sending a fax.
It will scan and load everything, and I can hear a dial tone but then it just stops and will not do anything more.
Can you please tell me what I can do to resolve this problem?
I DO have a phone line connected to my computer and the fax HAS worked before.
Thank you,
WilNK
