Olitec Universl Self Memory Pro USB & Classic Phone Tool

I have recently purchased Classic Phone Tools for use with my Olitec Universal Self Memory Pro USB modem.

Phone tools seems to install OK and I am able to upgrade to version 6.03 using the check for updates feature.

I am able to record a welcome message and download it to the modem. The modem answers my calls taking messages and faxes. I am able to listen to the messages directly on the modem OK.

However, I'm unable to download the messages and faxes to my PC and Phone Tools. I have tried making numerous changes to the settings in Phone Tools without luck.

Is the modem compatible ?

I have tried contacting technical support online and await a reply (2-weeks)

Can anyone please help?

1. In Classic Phonetools Go to the General Setup (or push F6 on your keyboard)
2. Go to the Communication Tab
3. Click on Change Modem
4. Click Next
5. Make sure the Olitec modem is Highlighted and click next
6. Check the box for Do not Automatically detect and click next
7. On the left side choose Olitec modems, and the right side choose the Olitec Self Memory Pro USB and click next
8. Click finish
9. Click OK out of the General Setup
