View Full Version : Tileing of themes
Help! Pocket Theme Manager 2 has tiled all of my themes and I don't want them tiled. How can I reverse this? I want all of my themes to "Stretch to fit" or "Full Screen" as originally installed. Please help.
I have an Axim X50V

I am not sure what you mean. There is not a setting for that in Pocket theme manager.
In Windows XP and 98 etc. you can tile and or strech to fit etc your wallpaper. On my Axim my wallpaper just started to tile in four panes, not one single picture. I have this problem with all my themes managed by Pocket Theme Manager. I have the original Bliss theme loaded (not using PTM) and it is fine. I can't track this down to anything but your program. I can't find any way to tile wallpaper on my PDA. How did this happen? Should I delete and reload? Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas?

Is that the way to themes look in Pocket Theme Manager on the PC? If not I would remove the themes from the PDA and retransfer them.
OK! I removed the themes, reloaded them and that fixed the problem....I should have tried the easy way first. To answer your question, no they are not tiled on my PC. Thanks for the help!!!

hello,
I am having the same problem. Every theme I load on the PDA is displayed as 4 tiles in stead of a full picture.
On the PC it is displayed as one full picture.
I am using an Ipaq 4700 with Windows mobile 2003 SE
Version 4.21.1088
I have deleted and reinstalled the themes on the PDA, but this didn“t work.
kind regards

If they are fine in Pocket Theme Manager on the Computer, try uninstall Pocket Theme manager from the PDA deleting all of the themes and then reinstalling Pocket Theme manager and retransfering the themes.
Same thing.....My Dell Axim X50v is doin the same thing!
I just found this ....ITs a link to another program (srry) but you will notice that this author had the same problem. IT's noted in the first line of their "Fixes" ....( Fixed problem non-VGA themes being tiled on a VGA device)
Just thought this would help!!!!

Typically these problems have something to do with your screen size and resolution. What screen sizes do you have and what resolution are your PDAs set at?

Screen is 4" transflective screen running VGA at 480 * 640.
Tiling also stops animation from running.
Dell Axim x50v
3.7"
640x480

I am researching this and will post here when I have more information.
I am a Pocket Theme Manager User from 1.0 version. Things were simple back then. Now we have to deal with Flash animations and VGA screens. Just bought PTM2 for an Axim X50v and noticed that the installed animations stretch to only 3/4 of the screen across. The options only include a height adjustment which only induces an annoying scroll bar to appear on the right side. The real question I have is....Does PTM2 support not only PPC 2003 but also VGA technology.
Thanks
Garry

Yes, it does support pocket PC 2003 and it does support VGA technology as far as I know.

Just go to Settings>Today and change the theme to a standard Today screen that worked before the install. Click OK. Then go back and choose the theme you created. This worked for me.
